Who runs ToolzYard

ToolzYard is written and maintained by Sumit Maurya, Founder and Head of Development at ThreeWorks, a creative digital agency based in Navi Mumbai, India. ThreeWorks moves brands towards a fulfilled vision for the future through website design and development, app design for Android and iOS, branding, graphic and motion design, social media marketing, and growth-focused digital marketing campaigns.

The agency is a team: Sunita Ghorai leads brand, Amol Kamble heads graphic and motion design, and Farhan Mansuri runs production. The engineering and the technical writing on ToolzYard are Sumit's, and mistakes on these pages are his to answer for. ToolzYard came out of that client work. Building and shipping websites and apps means reaching for the same handful of utilities every week — reformatting a JSON payload from an API, decoding a JWT to see why an auth flow is failing, generating IDs for seed data, checking an SSL certificate before a launch. Most of the free tools for these tasks are slow, ad-choked, or quietly upload your data to a server. So we built the versions we wanted to use ourselves, and left them public.

Every tool here runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you paste is transmitted to ToolzYard or to anyone else, which matters when the thing you are debugging is a production token or a customer record. The few tools that genuinely require a network lookup — DNS, WHOIS, IP, SSL, HTTP headers — say so on the page.

How these pages are written

The guide on each tool page is written to answer the question that actually brought you there, not to pad the page out. The UUID page explains why v7 beats v4 as a primary key in InnoDB and why CHAR(36) is a costly way to store 16 bytes. The JWT page covers the difference between decoding a token and verifying it — a distinction that has caused real security incidents.

Where a page makes a technical claim, it reflects the current specification rather than whatever a decade-old blog post said. If you find something wrong, tell us and we will correct it. Corrections are credited on the page.
