Most tools process your input entirely inside your browser. When you format JSON, decode a JWT, generate a UUID or a password, hash a string, convert between CSV, XML and YAML, encode Base64, test a regular expression, or use any of the text and CSS tools, the work is done by JavaScript running on your own device. That content is never transmitted to ToolzYard, and we never see it or store it.
Five tools cannot work that way, because they must ask a remote server. These tools send the hostname, domain, IP address, or URL that you enter to a third-party service in order to return a result. We do not operate these services and your query is subject to their privacy policies, not ours:

Because of this, you should not use the HTTP Header Checker on URLs that contain session tokens, signed links, API keys, or any other secret embedded in the address. Each of these five tools states on its own page what it sends and where.
One further note about the AES Encryption tool: it runs locally and nothing you type leaves your browser, but it uses a weak key-derivation function and an unauthenticated cipher mode. It is a learning and testing tool. Do not use it to protect real secrets. Its page explains why in detail.
